Who we are
Intelligent GK ("we", "us") is a goalkeeper coaching academy based in South Wales, operated by Lewis John. Contact: intelligentgkacademy@gmail.com
What we collect
Coaching bookings: name, child's name/age (where applicable), parent/guardian contact details, emergency contact, session/payment history — collected via Pembee at the point of booking.
Clothing orders: name, delivery address, email, order details, payment confirmation (we do not see or store full card numbers — payment is processed by Stripe).
Email marketing: name and email address, collected via sign-up forms, managed through Brevo.
Website usage: standard analytics/cookies via Squarespace (see Squarespace's own cookie notice, shown on first visit).
How we use it
To deliver coaching sessions and GK Wars events you've booked
To fulfil and ship clothing orders
To send order confirmations and account-related emails
To send marketing emails/offers — only where you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time
To improve our sessions and services
Who we share it with
We share the minimum data needed with:
Stripe — to process payments securely
Pembee — to manage coaching bookings and schedules
Brevo — to send marketing and transactional emails
Printful / Inkthreadable (our print-on-demand suppliers) — your name and delivery address only, to fulfil clothing orders
Squarespace — our website host
We don't sell your data to anyone.
Children's data
Some of our services are for goalkeepers under 18. Where a participant is a minor, the booking and any data we hold is provided and consented to by a parent or guardian. We collect only what's needed to deliver coaching safely (e.g. emergency contact, relevant medical/welfare info if you choose to share it).
How long we keep it
We keep booking and order records for as long as needed to meet our accounting and tax obligations (normally 6 years), and marketing contacts until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
Show you the data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data (where we're not legally required to keep it)
Stop using your data for marketing
Email intelligentgkacademy@gmail.com to make a request. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
