The tournament will be played with a Swiss Format is a non-eliminating tournament system that pairs competitors based on their performance. Each participant plays a fixed number of rounds, and after each round, opponents are matched based on their current win-loss record, so that players play people of equal ability.
Matches will consist of 1v1 battles between goalkeepers, with each goalkeeper defending a designated goal.Goalkeepers can use any legal form of distribution (throw, punt, kick) to initiate an attack towards the opponent's goal. If the ball is played out of the goalkeeper's area, the opposing player can take another shot; the defending goalkeeper cannot leave their area. This rule is to show the importance of handling and pushing the ball away from the dangerous areas.
The game duration will be 4 minutes long, with continuous play. (No half times)

NO SIDELINE COACHING: Let the goalkeepers make their own decisions. The "Goalie Wars" format is designed to test their technical skills and resilience —they also learn best by problem-solving!
RESPECT THE OFFICIALS: Our pitch marshals are there to ensure fair play and accurate scoring. Their decisions are final.
SCOUT ACCESS: We have invited scouts from all EPPP Academies within the local area, with positive communication from three of the five academies. They have asked if we can send the video footage from the Veo Camera lent to us by Cardiff City FC Community Foundation. Although they have not ruled out attending in person but stated that due to the time of year, scouts may be unavailable in person. However, if present and obvious, they are here (for example, they wear club clothing or come onto the ‘’grass’’), please allow them space to observe. They do not just observe the players but what family they come from …
